Synopsis

Yang gets summoned to appear before the Free Planet Alliance and is disturbed by how corrupt everything really is. At the same time, Marshal Reinhardt discovers that some of his own officers can't be trusted—which becomes a major problem when an ambitious admiral decides to launch a brutal attack aimed at taking back the Iserlohn Fortress. Both Yang and Reinhardt are worn down by the endless fighting and mounting casualties, but they gradually realize their real problem isn't the enemy on the opposite side of the battlefield. It's the rot within their own ranks.
