Synopsis

Kaoruko's supposed to meet a potential husband, but she can't stop thinking about someone from her past. Years ago, when she was young, she met a boy in Chichibu—she never even learned his name. All she has are these vivid memories: walking through Chichibu Shrine with him, seeing the pink flower fields at Hitsujiyama Park, the mountain stream at Nagatoro, the sea of clouds visible from Mitsumine Shrine. Those moments mean everything to her, and she desperately wants to experience them again. So she decides to go back to Chichibu. Maybe if she returns, she'll find him again. It's a long shot, but she's holding onto that possibility.
