One day he spots some harmless-looking bacteria being swept away by the bloodstream. Against his better judgment, he rescues them and brings them somewhere safe. But his good deed doesn't go unnoticed—Hakkekkyuu U-1146 detects the bacteria and starts hunting them down. Elsewhere in the body, NK Saibou is on a different mission. She's tracking down an antigen the immune system has fought before, and she suspects it's come back looking for payback.
