Hikaru's ordinary night of stargazing gets interrupted when she meets three aliens: Lala, Prunce, and Fuwa. They tell her about the Star Palace and its 12 Star Princesses, who used to maintain balance across the universe until they were attacked and scattered. Lala's looking for legendary warriors called Precure to help track down the Princess Star Color Pens—magical items needed to bring the princesses back.
