Synopsis

Hitomi Tsukishiro lives in a world full of magic, but her own life is completely colorless—literally and emotionally. Everything around her is drained of feeling and vibrancy. Then one night, as fireworks light up the sky, her grandmother Kohaku casts a spell she's been preparing for sixty years. It sends Hitomi back in time to 2018, when Kohaku herself was in high school. Hitomi doesn't really understand why she's been sent back, but her grandmother insists she'll figure it out when she gets there. After a strange journey on a train piloted by an odd yellow creature, Hitomi ends up in the room of Yuito Aoi, a quiet, serious artist. And the moment she sees his drawings, her colorless world explodes with color and life. The mystery unfolds from there: what is Hitomi actually supposed to do, and why does Yuito's art have such a powerful effect on her?
