Tonde Mon Pe
Mon-Mon is a fifteen-year-old country girl who moves to the city chasing her dream of becoming a fashion designer. She lands what seems like the perfect gig—working as an au pair for Mrs. Kano, a successful designer, along with Mrs. Kano's husband (a goofy writer) and their baby daughter PePe. Except there's one problem: PePe has psychic powers, and she uses them to make toys and stuffed animals come to life and do weird things. Mon-Mon's employers somehow never notice any of this happening. What started as a dream job quickly becomes total chaos—stuffed animals talking, teddy bears walking around—and Mon-Mon, sweet and hardworking but completely out of her depth, has no idea how to handle it. Eventually, she decides the gig isn't worth it and plans to go back home. But PePe has grown attached to her and isn't about to let her leave. The psychic baby finds a way to make sure Mon-Mon stays put.
