Synopsis

Momo Adachi looks like she should have her pick of guys—she's got the tan skin and bleached hair of a former swim team star. But she's hung up on Toji, a baseball player she's liked since junior high, who apparently only goes for pale girls. No matter how hard she tries to change herself for him, it doesn't work. To make matters worse, her classmates have started spreading rumors that she's easy and promiscuous, which is partly thanks to her supposedly close friend Sae, who's actually spreading the lies as part of her own plan to get with Toji. Meanwhile, a genuinely popular guy named Kairi keeps publicly confessing his feelings for her and pushing to date her. Caught between an unrequited crush, a fake friend with her own agenda, and a persistent admirer, Momo has to figure out who she actually is while dealing with all the drama and her own insecurities.
