Synopsis

It's the Dark Century, a time when the devil Vandel and his monster-controlling powers have humanity trapped under his thumb. The Vandel Busters are the ones fighting back—and the Zenon Squad is basically their best, strongest team on the continent. A kid named Beet idolizes them and wants nothing more than to join their ranks. Then everything goes wrong. Due to Beet's mistake, the devil Beltose takes down the entire Zenon Squad. As they're dying, the five busters pour their remaining life force into five weapons called Saiga and give them to Beet before passing away. Years later, Beet—now a young Vandel Buster himself—sets out on his journey to finish what the Zenon Squad started and end the Dark Century once and for all.
