When Shoutarou Tatewaki first meets Sakurako Kujou, he's convinced she's behind a local disappearance. Turns out she's actually an osteologist with a bizarre talent for analyzing bones. She's got an impressive collection of reconstructed skeletons—mostly animals, though she'd definitely prefer more human specimens, which understandably freaks everyone out. Before long, Shoutarou's tagging along as Sakurako investigates whatever unsolved cases cross her path, which usually means dealing with decomposing remains.
