Synopsis

Wakaba Kohashi is a sheltered rich girl who wants to reinvent herself as a gyaru—she's drawn to their confidence and laid-back attitude. So she decides to make her high school debut as one, starting fresh on the first day of class. That's where she meets three very different girls: the sweet Moeko Tokita, the no-nonsense Nao Mashiba, and the quirky Mao Kurokawa. The four hit it off immediately and become best friends, each curious about the others' worlds. Wakaba Girl is basically about these four navigating high school together—school festivals, trips to the waterpark, gym class disasters, the usual stuff. But what makes it work is that Wakaba gets to see what normal student life is actually like, while her new friends get an inside look at what it's like being part of a wealthy family. They're constantly learning from each other and keeping things interesting, making sure every day counts.
