Synopsis

When Tokio finds an abandoned two-month-old kitten, he brings her home and names her Chibi-neko. His mother is terrified of cats and allergic to boot, but she lets him keep the kitten anyway—she's worried he's been isolating himself since bombing his university entrance exams. Chibi-neko quickly becomes attached to her new owner. In her mind, Chibi-neko is basically a human. She thinks and speaks like one, though everyone around her just hears regular cat meows. She also has this weird belief that all humans used to be kittens. One day, a stray cat tells her about a magical place called Cottonland, where your dreams can actually come true.
