Synopsis

Ayu Tateishi is a second-year middle schooler obsessed with maintaining her cool, composed image—mostly to impress her crush, Tetsushi Kaji. Fantasy and magic? Not her thing. She's perfectly happy keeping her head down and looking good. That all changes when Nina Sakura transfers into her class and reveals herself to be a witch. Now Ayu's stuck as Nina's unwilling accomplice, helping her search for five Holy Stones so Nina can qualify to marry some prince back in the Magic Kingdom. The catch? Nina casts spells using a mini-computer, she's terrible at magic, and she has zero boundaries about meddling in Ayu's life. To make matters worse, Hiroki Tsujiai—Tetsushi's best friend and a total manga nerd—is way too observant, and keeping Nina's secret from him is basically impossible. Every time Nina screws up a spell or causes chaos, Ayu's carefully crafted reputation takes another hit. And when other witches and magical beings start showing up to either help or stop Nina's quest, Ayu finds herself pulled headfirst into a world she never wanted anything to do with.
