Synopsis

Daigo Asahina is the newest recruit at Medaka Gumi #2, a firefighting company in Sengoku City. He's already earned a reputation for extreme methods—like throwing people off rooftops during rescues—that, while well-meaning, are starting to damage the company's image. When a fire breaks out at the city's Concert Hall and traps members of the Emergency Rescue Squad, Daigo faces his biggest test yet. He's determined to keep the promise he made to himself: no one dies on his watch.
