Synopsis

Chief Gooley's worst nightmare is happening—the Lovely Angels are back, and the Central Computer has dumped two cases on them at once. First up: investigate a space liner explosion that killed three hundred people, except nobody's filed any insurance claims. Meanwhile, they also need to track down a missing scientist and his entire family. The kicker? These cases might be connected, but the Central Computer isn't giving anything away. So it falls to the Dirty Pair to figure out the connection before time runs out—especially for a grieving grandfather waiting to find out what happened to his family.
