Synopsis

Haruto Tsukishiro wakes up in an unfamiliar bedroom inside a dream world, only to discover a mysterious app on his phone. When he opens it, a creepy woman tries to pull him into her realm—but a white-haired girl with unknown powers cuts the connection and helps him escape. She reveals the woman is a witch before disappearing. Inside the dream world again, Haruto runs into Katsumi Kanzaki, a talking cat who's apparently an expert on dream research. After another close call with the witch's minions, the white-haired girl saves them again. When Haruto describes her to Katsumi, they realize she's "Lily"—a mysterious being that keeps appearing across different dreamscapes. Desperate to get out, they head back into the witch's realm hoping to find a blue door. During the confrontation, Lily finally explains what's going on: witches are actually people trapped in comas in the real world, their sleep induced by trauma and suffering. The only way to wake them up is to defeat them in the dream world. They manage to beat the witch and find the blue door. Haruto and Katsumi promise to meet again in reality and say goodbye. But when Haruto steps through the door, he just wakes up back in that same bedroom. Now he and Katsumi have to figure out what's really going on—why he can't leave, what Lily actually is, and what these witches really want.
