Synopsis

Sisters Yin and Ning have been on the run ever since the Taibai Empire destroyed their home. Their childhood friend Zhao wasn't so lucky—he's been enslaved by the Empire and forced to use his talent for invention to serve them. Things change when Yin stumbles upon a legendary sword that unlocks powerful combat abilities and summons Yun, a mechanical fox spirit bound to protect her. Around the same time, Zhao befriends a mysterious girl who turns out to have serious influence within the Empire itself. As the three get pulled deeper into the Empire's power struggle, they'll need to team up with resistance forces and use everything at their disposal—magic, skill, and cunning—if they want any shot at overthrowing Taibai's rule.
