Synopsis

Thirty years have passed since Keita Amano, an 11-year-old kid with a special watch, befriended Youkai and used them to help people. But as he grew up, he lost the ability to see them entirely. The watch itself—dangerous enough to throw off the balance between worlds—was destroyed and erased from existence. Eventually, the whole thing became nothing but legend. Then, after decades of peace, everything went wrong. A Youkai virus called Onimaro emerged and started infecting people with bad intentions, warping them into twisted creatures called Kaodeka Oni and plunging the city into chaos. With disaster closing in, only those chosen by a brand new Youkai Watch have any chance of stopping it—and saving both humans and Youkai from total annihilation.
