Synopsis

Yoshimura Sumimura is a Kekkaishi—someone with supernatural powers who can destroy Ayakashi, demons that slip into the human world to feed on the spiritual energy of Karasumori. The problem? His high school sits right on top of this power hotspot, making it ground zero for nightly demon attacks. Yoshimura's stuck protecting his school and hometown whether he likes it or not, even though he'd honestly rather be baking cakes. Luckily he's not alone. His childhood friend and neighbor Tokine Yukimura fights alongside him, and despite coming from rival Kekkaishi clans, they work incredibly well together. They need to—the Ayakashi keep coming in waves, trying to claim Karasumori for themselves. And things get messier when a mysterious organization starts watching from the shadows, waiting for their moment to make a move.
