Synopsis

Asumi's been stuck in a rut at Kobe Steel. She's a salesperson going through the motions, watching the company struggle, and honestly losing faith in what she does. By 2021, she's ready to walk away. But right before she quits, something strange happens—a light bursts out of a corporate history book and pulls her back to 1905 Kobe. She lands in the company's founding era and meets the people who built it all. One of them is Torasuke, an earnest, sometimes clumsy young guy from the Meiji period with huge dreams about industrial progress. Together, these two from different centuries travel through the company's history. They see how people faced their struggles head-on and kept pushing forward, always believing things could get better. Watching the founders' determination and spirit changes something in both of them. By the end, they each figure out what they actually want to do next—and it's not what either of them expected.
