Crown Prince Cecil Glow Alfostar is brilliant at literally everything, which means he's bored out of his mind most of the time. Nothing ever surprises him or holds his attention—until he meets Bertia Evil Nochesse, his arranged fiancée, who manages to catch him off guard constantly. Bertia's convinced she's been reborn into an otome game as the villainess, and she takes that role seriously. Her job, as she sees it, is to sabotage Cecil's relationship with the heroine and generally cause trouble. She throws herself into the villain arc with genuine enthusiasm. The problem is, no matter what "evil" schemes she attempts, they always come across as thoughtful and genuinely nice instead. She has no idea how good-hearted she actually sounds.
