Synopsis

A young girl named Ai moves to Animal Village by taxi, only to get ripped off by her landlord Tanukichi, who tricks her into working at his delivery service. She quickly befriends the locals: Kotobuki, the anxious mayor worried about staying in office; Yuu, the only other human in town and a total goofball who loves costumes; Bouquet, an obnoxiously energetic but well-meaning cat; and Sally, an elephant with dreams of becoming a fashion designer. The village is full of friendly faces, but Ai still can't quite figure out where she fits in—until mysterious notes start washing up on the beach, hinting at something bigger waiting for her.
