Synopsis

Deep in the forest, right on the edge of a lake, there's a cluttered little cottage that everyone's afraid of—supposedly inhabited by a witch. In reality, it belongs to Rose, a young woman who learned potion-making from her grandmother. She's content with her isolated life, but there's one thing she can't shake: a crush on Sir Harij Azm, a knight she glimpsed years ago. Four years have passed, and Rose's feelings haven't faded. But she knows better than to act on them—witches don't get involved in human politics or belong to anyone. So when Harij shows up at her door asking for a love potion, it hits her hard. He's fallen for someone else, but Rose agrees to help anyway. Before she actually makes the potion though, she sends him on a series of absurd quests to hunt down each ingredient. It's partly an excuse to drag things out and spend more time with him before reality catches up.
