Synopsis

Kou Yamori, a 14-year-old, has decided he wants to become a vampire. The catch? Humans can only turn if they fall in love with one first. He's set his sights on a vampire named Nazuna Nanakusa, and he's got ten months to make her fall for him. His friends Mahiru and Akira are struggling to wrap their heads around both the existence of vampires and Kou's plan to join their ranks. Things get messier when Kou discovers that someone close to Mahiru is also a vampire—and he's conflicted about whether he should say anything. Adding to the pressure, a determined human detective named Anko Uguisu is hunting vampires and getting dangerously close to Nazuna's coven. When one of them gets badly hurt in an encounter with her, the vampires realize something terrifying: their own human memories can be used as a weapon against them. To keep Nazuna safe, Kou needs to uncover the truth about her past.
