Synopsis

Four adventurers—Nick, a seasoned veteran; Tiana, a mage; Zem, a cleric; and Curran, a half-dragon—end up at the same tavern table by chance. As drinks flow, they each open up about what's been weighing on them and the hobbies they've turned to just to cope. Their stories couldn't be more different, but there's something they all share: they've all been badly betrayed by someone close to them, leaving them fundamentally distrustful of people. On top of that shared cynicism, there's another problem they have in common—they're broke. Pretty badly. Figuring they can't keep going like this, the four decide to band together, rank up, and earn enough money to actually enjoy their respective hobbies. What they don't realize is that their partnership will eventually lead to them saving the world from something genuinely catastrophic.
