Synopsis

Kanon Shibuya gets an opportunity to study abroad just as the Love Live! Competition wraps up, so she says goodbye to Liella! and her bandmates. They're all set to keep pursuing idol activities from opposite sides of the world—until Wien Margarete's parents ask Kanon to stick around for another year to mentor their daughter. Caught in this unexpected situation, Kanon ends up joining Wien's new idol group instead of leaving. Wien had been rivals with Liella!, but she's determined to forge her own path rather than join them. Not wanting to see that drive wasted, Kanon recruits Tomari Onitsuka (sister of a former Liella! member) to round out the unit. The new group has its work cut out for them. They're trying to move past Wien's rough reputation while also dealing with the fallout from Liella! losing their center—and the void Kanon's departure left behind.
