Synopsis

Hyouma Kunato's gotten comfortable with Botan Nagatsuki and her family of tsukumogami—spirits that possess objects—but his real drive hasn't changed: he wants revenge. What Hyouma doesn't know is that while he's training in Kyoto under the Kadomori family, the Bureau of Traditional Music is making its move. These three instrument tsukumogami are questioning Botan's family about why Hyouma's even around someone who bridges the human and marebito worlds. Then the paper umbrella tsukumogami he's been chasing for years suddenly shows up and kidnaps Botan and her friends. Now Hyouma's racing to save her—and he might have to let go of his revenge if he actually wants to keep his promise to protect her.
