Ruby is an Aurora Girl responsible for creating the northern lights with her kind. After getting banished from Aurora Land for her selfish and destructive behavior, she's given a chance at redemption—but only if she can find a magical stone called Aurora no Shizuku that grants three wishes. When she meets Anpanman, Ruby lies and tells him she needs the stone to save her homeland. Things get complicated when Baikinman shows up, also after the stone for his own reasons. Now Ruby has to choose between helping her new friends or securing her ticket back to Aurora Land.
