Synopsis

The Atobe Group is opening a new tennis court in Kanagawa and wants to throw an exhibition match to celebrate. Keigo Atobe, captain of Hyoutei Academy's tennis team, invites the region's best squad to compete—Rikkai University-Affiliated Middle School. Seiichi Yukimura, who leads Rikkai, jumps at the chance to show what his team can do. While preparations ramp up, Hyoutei's third-years are grooming Wakashi Hiyoshi to take over as captain next year. Over at Rikkai, their third-years are wondering if Akaya Kirihara, the team's only second-year star player, has what it takes to keep them on top. Both Hiyoshi and Kirihara are hungry to prove themselves during this match—determined to live up to and maybe even surpass the legacies their predecessors have built. The whole future of both schools comes down to these two second-year aces and their drive to succeed. As the third-years prepare to move on, they pour everything they've got into passing the torch to the next generation, making sure Hiyoshi and Kirihara are ready to carry their teams forward.
