A small band of resistance fighters on the colonial world of Deployer, known as the "Sun Fang" or "Deployer 7," find themselves in a brutal conflict when the planet's elected Governor suddenly seizes power and declares martial law. Backed by Earth's Federation, the new dictator tightens his grip on the planet. Desperate to fight back against Federation control and its superior military hardware, the rebels acquire a Combat Armor unit of their own—the Dougram—and use it as their primary weapon in their guerrilla war for independence.
