Synopsis

After taking down the shadowy Amarariruku organization, Teru Momijiyama tries to settle back into normal life in Tokyo. Except she's still out there as Shy, Japan's vigilante hero, saving people whenever she can. Each mission and interaction pushes her to grow more confident in herself, though she knows she's still figuring out what it really means to be a hero. One day while heading home from school, Teru meets Ai Tennouji and they hit it off immediately. Teru finds herself opening up to this new friend—which is huge for her. But there's more to Ai than meets the eye. She's actually a runaway from her village, and she's searching for something directly connected to Teru's secret identity as Shy. With Amarariruku's threat still hanging over everything, Teru has to decide how much she's willing to trust Ai and how deeply she wants to involve her in what she does.
