Synopsis

Akira Himegami wakes up from cryogenic sleep to find the world completely unrecognizable. The city's been destroyed by war, an organization called OWEL now runs everything, and marriage has been replaced by a new system called "Elsie." Struggling to make sense of this dystopian future, Akira encounters Yuugure—someone who looks almost identical to his old girlfriend, Towasa. Without warning, Yuugure asks him to marry her. Bewildered but desperate, Akira agrees to travel with her, clinging to the possibility that the real Towasa might still be out there somewhere. As they journey together, they discover what love actually means in this strange new world.
