Synopsis

After the supposed death of the 99th emperor, the Holy Britannian Empire collapsed, and most of its former territories joined the United Federation of Nations in pursuit of lasting peace. But fragments of the empire refused to go quietly—including Neo-Britannia, which seized control of Hokkaido and assassinated the island's governor, Juugo Sumeragi. The Seven Shining Stars, a resistance group fighting to reclaim Hokkaido, is running out of options. Desperate, they recruit the Nameless Mercenaries: two brothers with a reputation for taking down Britannian operatives and defending the Japanese. Rozé is a brilliant strategist, while Ash is an elite Knightmare pilot. Both happen to be Britannian themselves, which only makes their track record more impressive. With these two on their side, the resistance finally has a real shot at pushing back Neo-Britannia and stopping another brutal occupation before it takes root.
