Yuusuke is an antisocial office worker who's most comfortable doing his job quietly and alone. When his company collapses and he loses his job, he completely checks out—becoming a shut-in who does nothing but play video games. One day, after forcing himself outside, a strange man attacks and bites him. Yuusuke barely makes it back to his apartment before collapsing with a fever that keeps him bedridden for days.
