Synopsis

Kaii—dangerous monsters that attack cities—have become a constant threat in recent years. Fighting them turned into a legitimate career path, and these days magical girls handle most of the extermination work. There are over five hundred magical girl companies out there now, from tiny startups to massive corporations. Kana Sakuragi's been grinding through job interviews after college with no real luck landing anything. Then a Kaii shows up mid-interview, and instead of panicking, she jumps in to help the magical girl who responds. She's got no combat training, but her sharp mind and killer memory help them take the thing down. Hitomi Koshigaya—the magical girl who actually fought the monster—sees something in Kana and recruits her on the spot. She works for Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc., a smaller company just trying to make it in the industry. Kana's not really cut out for the corporate grind, but it turns out she's got serious potential as a magical girl. Turns out it's actually her thing.
