Neko no Ongaeshi
Haru Yoshioka is a bored high school student living a pretty unremarkable life—until she saves Prince Lune of the Cat Kingdom from getting hit by a truck. Grateful, the Cat King showers her with gifts and invites her to become Lune's wife. Problem is, Haru has no idea what the cats are even saying, and they assume her confused responses mean she's accepted. Desperate to get out of this mess, Haru gets a mysterious tip to find the Cat Bureau. She tracks it down, but before she can figure out what's going on, a bunch of cats burst in and drag her off to the Cat Kingdom anyway—along with someone who was at the bureau. The bureau's owner, Baron Humbert von Gikkingen, decides he can't let that slide and heads after them. The longer Haru spends in the Cat Kingdom doing cat stuff, the more she literally starts turning into a cat. It gets pretty serious—she realizes that if she doesn't figure out who she really is, she might not be able to turn back. But her time there ends up being exactly what she needed. By the end of it all, she's found herself and comes back as someone way more confident than before.
