Centuries ago, the Kingdom of the Vale was prosperous and powerful—until the ruler's two sons went to war. They each commanded a Legendary Pokémon, Reshiram and Zekrom, and their battle destabilized the Dragon Force, the magical energy that sustained the entire kingdom. A Mythical Pokémon named Victini helped restore peace and sealed away the Dragon Force with the Sword of the Vale. The catch: if anyone pulls the Sword free, the kingdom will be destroyed all over again. Damon is descended from the People of the Vale, and he's determined to resurrect his ancestors' civilization. He's managed to awaken and control Zekrom, and his plan is to draw the Sword and tap into the Dragon Force's power for himself. Ash and his friends happen to arrive in Eindoak Town, which sits right at the base of the Sword of the Vale. They quickly realize what Damon's up to and team up with Victini to stop him before history repeats itself.
