Synopsis

After wrapping up in Yorknew City, Leorio and Kurapika track down rumors of a boy with bright red eyes—someone they think might be another surviving member of the Kurta Clan. Kurapika's desperate to find a fellow survivor, but things go wrong fast when he's attacked and loses both his eyes to someone who might actually be an old friend. With Leorio patching him up, they call in Gon and Killua to help recover Kurapika's eyes. But the trail leads straight to the Phantom Troupe, the notorious thief group that wiped out the entire Kurta Clan five years ago specifically to steal their scarlet eyes—which turn red when the clan members get angry. Now the four of them are hunting down whoever took Kurapika's eyes and trying to catch the thief responsible. As they dig into the Phantom Troupe's history, they run into a mysterious girl who seems to be at the center of everything.
