Synopsis

Usagi Tsukino is your average clumsy 14-year-old second-year junior high student—the type who cries easily and stumbles through life. Her world gets turned upside down when she meets Luna, a mysterious talking black cat with a crescent moon mark on her head. Luna gives Usagi a magical brooch that lets her transform into Sailor Moon, a guardian of love and peace dressed in a sailor uniform. Now Usagi's got a job: hunt down the legendary Silver Crystal, a powerful magical artifact, find the other Sailor Guardians, and locate the lost princess of the Moon Kingdom (Luna's old home). Sounds like a lot, right? It gets worse. Queen Beryl, ruler of the Dark Kingdom, is after the Silver Crystal too and wants its power for herself. So while juggling school, family drama, and her love life, Usagi and the other Sailor Guardians have to protect the world from evil.
