Synopsis

In 2008, Japan's government launched a crackdown on otaku, claiming it was to protect the country's culture. A government agency called the SSC rounded up almost every otaku in a single week, seizing their collections. One guy calling himself Otaku Hero refused to stand for it and organized a resistance made up of other displaced geeks determined to fight back and preserve their culture. Three years later, the rebellion's running on fumes. With hope nearly gone, Otaku Hero gets a boost when he teams up with Anarchy, a magical girl who helps him lead the resistance. Their plan: reunite Anarchy with two other magical girls named Blue and Pink. If they can combine the three of them together, they might have enough power to take down the SSC and save otaku culture once and for all.
