Synopsis

Kou Yamori is your average middle schooler who can't wrap his head around love, so he does what any confused kid would do—he just stops going to school. With nothing to do and too much time to think, insomnia kicks in, leaving him wandering the streets at night. One night he runs into Nazuna Nanakusa, a strange girl who has a theory about why people can't sleep: they're unsatisfied with their day and need to let loose before they can rest. She offers to help and invites him over, suggesting they share a futon. When Kou's guard finally drops, Nazuna bites his neck and reveals the truth—she's a vampire. Naturally, Kou assumes he's going to turn into one too. Except it's not that simple. The bite alone doesn't do anything. To actually transform, he'd need to be bitten by someone he genuinely loves. But Kou's fine with that. He's tired of his boring human life anyway, so he settles on a new goal: fall in love with Nazuna and become a vampire.
