Synopsis

About ten years ago, gates started appearing all over the world—portals to other dimensions filled with monsters that don't respond to normal weapons. At the same time, some people awakened as hunters with superhuman powers. Since someone had to explore these dungeons and clear them out, hunters started banding together in guilds to make a living. Sung Jin-Woo is an E-rank hunter, which basically means he's the weakest one around. During what should've been an easy dungeon run with his party, they stumble onto a hidden passage leading deeper underground. Greed gets the better of them and they push forward looking for treasure, but what they find instead is a nightmare. Jin-Woo somehow makes it out alive, but he's the only one who does. After that, he discovers he can see some kind of system interface that nobody else can access. It's offering him the strength he's always wanted—if he's willing to pay the cost.
