Synopsis

Sakura and Syaoran have a good thing going in the desert kingdom of Clow—she's a princess, he's an archeologist, and despite the King not exactly approving, they're genuinely happy together. Life's pretty quiet. Then everything goes sideways when Sakura shows up in front of Syaoran half-conscious with wings sprouting from her back. The wings fall apart into feathers, she collapses, and Syaoran realizes something is seriously wrong. Turns out those feathers are the problem. They've been scattered across a bunch of different dimensions, and if Syaoran doesn't collect them all, Sakura won't survive. He makes a deal with the Dimensional Witch Yuuko to help, and she sets him up with Mokona Modoki—a creature capable of jumping between worlds. He's not going at this alone, though. Fai D. Flourite, a laid-back guy running from trouble in his own dimension, joins the effort. So does Kurogane, a swordsman sent on the journey specifically to toughen himself up. It's an odd team, but they're committed to finding Sakura's feathers across multiple realms, even if the odds are stacked against them.
