Synopsis

Ninku After a brutal war, the Ninku—a group of elite warriors—nearly destroyed the Imperial Army, but ultimately lost and were wiped out. The victors quickly rewrote history, positioning themselves as saviors of the people while painting the Ninku as the true villains who started everything. Fusuke, who looks like a kid but was actually the captain of the first Ninku division, lost his mother during the conflict. After the Ninku's defeat, he sets out to find her. Along the way, he reunites with Aicho and Touji, fellow former Ninku captains, and the three of them band together to fight back against the Imperial Army's ongoing hunt for the last surviving Ninku. The Ninku themselves were a clan of ninja with access to powerful, esoteric techniques—exactly the kind of power that makes them targets. Various factions are constantly trying to steal their secrets to gain control of the country, and Fusuke is their main prize. Despite his childlike appearance, he's one of the strongest Ninku around. Teaming up with other Ninku warriors who each have their own specialized abilities, Fusuke and his allies must confront the forces that brought their entire clan to its knees.
