Synopsis

Winter's coming, and Myne's settling into her life as an apprentice priestess at the church. But her massive mana reserves and all that knowledge she's accumulated have made her a target. Suddenly she's got dangerous people circling, all wanting to exploit what she can do. The Head Priest knows she's in real danger, so he assigns her a bodyguard and pushes hard for her to get adopted by a noble family. The catch? She'd have to leave her family behind, which Myne absolutely doesn't want. When she refuses, he gives her an ultimatum: stay with her family until she turns 10, but if she becomes too much of a problem or her instability gets worse, they'll remove her from the equation permanently. Now Myne's trapped. She doesn't know what comes next, but she's determined to protect the people she cares about—even if that means sacrificing her own goals to do it.
