Synopsis

In the original Rozen Maiden, traumatized Jun Sakurada agrees to wind an unknown doll and fights alongside the Rozen Maidens. But what if he'd said no instead? This Jun has moved past his school trauma and now splits his time between college and working at a bookstore. Still, he doesn't really feel like he belongs anywhere. One day he finds a book with instructions for making a Rozen Maiden. That night, the second volume mysteriously arrives at his house along with some doll parts. Just as suddenly, the deliveries stop and he learns the book series has been discontinued. With an incomplete doll and a cryptic message from his alternate self, this Jun somehow finds his way into the world of the Rozen Maidens anyway.
