Chocolate Underground: Bokura no Chocolate Sensou
The story unfolds in a fictional modern country where the "Good for You" party has seized power and banned chocolate along with most other treats. Two boys, Huntly and Smudger, used to loiter at Ms. Bubby's candy shop mainly to see Louise, the owner's daughter. When the Chocolate Prohibition Law shuts down the once-thriving shop, Louise recruits them for an underground chocolate smuggling operation. While heading to a secret chocolate ingredient mine, the boys stumble on a mysterious code. After cracking it, they gain entry to an illegal dealer's headquarters and find themselves in the middle of a secret chocolate party. It's a blast—until the Chocolate Police raid the place. In the chaos, their friend Div gets arrested just for trying to enjoy some chocolate. Outraged that someone would be punished for such a simple pleasure, Huntly, Smudger, and Louise decide to start their own bootlegging operation. The question becomes whether these three, pooling their skills and determination, can actually pull it off and restore the fun and beauty to their world.
