Synopsis

Cherry blossoms drift across the courtyard, their petals shimmering in the moonlight. Kagura wakes and sits in the hallway, gazing out at the scene. "At night like this, it feels like anything could happen," she murmurs. A butterfly suddenly flutters past, its scales catching the light and gleaming. Kochou no Sei appears. "You're right. Night is perfect for stories." As Kagura breathes in the butterfly's sparkling dust, drowsiness pulls at her. Her eyelids grow heavy. "Once Kagura falls asleep," Kochou no Sei says softly, "that's when the real story begins—in her dreams."
