Set in the distant future, this story kicks off when a boy encounters a girl who changes everything. The once-mighty Pan Galaxy Republic has crumbled, taking most of the major empires with it. The collapse scattered people across the galaxy, leaving it fragmented and quiet. Banjou lives a peaceful, uneventful life salvaging trash around a massive spherical wall—until he discovers a frozen girl in a wrecked spaceship. Before he can process what's happening, dangerous people show up hunting her down. Suddenly, his quiet corner of the galaxy gets very chaotic, very fast. Turns out the girl he found is Goza 168th, and she's basically the key to the entire universe's future. Together, the two of them set out on a journey to somehow restore the Galaxy Republic to its former glory. Sure, it's an uphill battle, but they figure they'll just take it one step at a time. What follows is a hilarious, chaotic road trip across the galaxy with two thoroughly irresponsible adventurers at the helm.
