Synopsis

After running into oddity specialist Izuko Gaen, third-year student Koyomi Araragi wakes up in some kind of strange void. There he finds someone familiar—which is weird, since nothing about this place feels right. With his girlfriend Hitagi Senjougahara's help, Araragi tries to piece together what's happening by digging through his past and dealing with confusing stuff in the present. But then Ougi Oshino, the eccentric transfer student, shows up with a proposal that could shake the foundations of who Araragi actually is. As he investigates an apparition and uncovers layer after layer of mystery, Araragi stumbles onto a truth that maybe wasn't meant to be found.
