Synopsis

Ash is on his quest to become a Pokémon Master when he heads to Fura City for the annual Wind Festival. He and Pikachu are eager to compete in the festival's Get Race. Meanwhile, Kagachi—an arrogant guy who lies constantly—enters the competition after his niece Lily convinces him. Since he knows basically nothing about Pokémon, he partners with Torito, an awkward scientist, in exchange for help with a speech. Kagachi ends up winning, and afterward Ash meets Risa, a former track star who's trying to catch her first Pokémon. Things go downhill when Team Rocket crashes Torito's speech and steals a capsule from his lab. Then the Wind Festival's Sacred Flame vanishes. As Ash and his friends search for whoever's responsible, they encounter various people along the way—including Zeraora, a legendary Thunderclap Pokémon that everyone thought was extinct.
